Horde Defenders Renown Guide

Understand the confirmed link between Renown, rebirth, and the 25% Renown Boost without guessing base amounts, resets, or formulas.

The strongest public Renown fact is the official Renown Boost description: earn 25% more Renown every time you rebirth. This confirms a relationship between Renown and rebirth. It does not reveal the base award, rebirth requirement, reset contents, rounding, cap, spending options, or interaction with another boost.

Read the rebirth screen before confirming

Open the current rebirth interface and read the requirement, projected Renown, reset warning, retained items, and confirmation steps. Do not proceed until you understand what the screen says will change.

Capture the wording privately if you need to compare later. Alpha updates can alter thresholds and resets. A fan page’s older “how to rebirth” sequence may be unsafe for the current account.

Test the 25% promise

If you can compare a valid baseline and boosted result, keep the rebirth state and other modifiers consistent. The simple mathematical expectation is baseline times 1.25, but the live game may round and may apply bonuses in an unpublished order.

Use the displayed Renown award as the deciding result. Do not infer the base amount from a rounded boosted value unless the interface confirms it.

Keep Renown separate from other rewards

VIP refers to battle Scrap. Money Boost names Money. Luck affects rarer tower skins from crates. Renown Boost concerns Renown at rebirth. These are four differently described systems.

Do not publish conversions between them without a current game interface. A shared icon color or nearby menu location is not proof that two labels represent the same resource.

Plan a safe rebirth decision

Requirement

Record what the current screen requires before the rebirth button becomes available.

Reset

Read every item, level, tower, hero, or progression field the warning says will reset.

Reward

Record projected base Renown and any visibly itemized bonus.

Recovery

Decide whether the permanent benefit is worth the time needed to regain temporary progress.

If the interface does not clearly explain a reset, postpone the action. A rebirth can be materially harder to reverse than a tower placement.

Compare individual and bundle access

Renown Boost was listed at 299 Robux, and the Every Pass Bundle named it among eight benefits. The bundle also retained a next-update warning. Compare current price, existing ownership, desired benefits, and observed delivery before choosing.

Buying the pass should not be treated as proof of an award until the game displays the expected boosted result. Preserve receipts privately and avoid repeating a purchase when delivery is unclear.

Renown mistakes to avoid

  • Claiming a base Renown amount from the 25% pass wording.
  • Rebirthing without reading current reset terms.
  • Treating Scrap, Money, and Renown as interchangeable.
  • Assuming percentage bonuses add, multiply, or round a specific way.
  • Using an old Tech Tree refund notice as proof of current rebirth behavior.
  • Calling the pass delivered before a relevant account check.

Keep a rebirth ledger

Before confirming, record the current rebirth requirement, displayed Renown reward, active modifiers, and the exact reset warning. After confirmation, record the Renown actually received and which progression fields changed. A two-column before-and-after note prevents memory from filling in details that the screen never promised.

For a later boosted comparison, use the same fields and label the account state. Do not compare an early rebirth with a much later one unless the game shows that both have the same base award. If the projected value already includes the boost, avoid adding another 25% yourself.

Spend Renown only after reading the current destination or upgrade description. The checked public records confirm how the pass changes earning, not what every Renown purchase does. Any unlock order should therefore come from your current goals and the live interface rather than an invented universal priority.

Renown FAQ

How do I get Renown?

The official pass description establishes that rebirth grants Renown. Exact requirements and base amounts must be read in the live game.

What does Renown Boost do?

It promises 25% more Renown every time you rebirth.

What resets on rebirth?

The checked public pass record does not say. Read the current confirmation screen and do not guess.

Does VIP increase Renown?

VIP describes Scrap from battles, not Renown. No public stacking relationship is established.
