Horde Defenders advertises a large single-player scope: 59 levels across five alien worlds, one boss in each world, plus Challenges, Endless mode, leaderboards, and a Workshop for building and sharing maps. The public description names those features but does not publish a complete level list, boss roster, wave schedule, score formula, unlock path, challenge rotation, or Workshop review rules.
The most precise public objectives come from six enabled Roblox badges. They identify milestone levels 1.1, 2.1, 3.1, and 4.1 and define several restricted survival attempts. Those conditions are reliable planning anchors, but they are not complete walkthroughs or proof of hidden rules.
Mode and feature map
Campaign
Official scope: 59 levels, five alien worlds, one boss per world.
Use now: progress through the visible world and level order.
Needs testing: names, waves, rewards, unlocks, and boss mechanics.
Challenges
Official scope: named in the Experience description.
Use now: read the live objective and restrictions before entering.
Needs testing: rotation, scoring, modifiers, and rewards.
Endless and leaderboards
Official scope: both are advertised.
Use now: rely on the current menu and result screen.
Needs testing: unlock, scoring, reset, ties, and eligibility.
Workshop
Official scope: build and share your own maps.
Use now: follow the live editor and publishing interface.
Needs testing: tools, limits, moderation, discovery, and rewards.
Choose the feature that is visibly available on your account. An advertised mode can still have an unlock requirement, staged Alpha rollout, or changing interface. Do not use a fan-made menu screenshot as proof of your current build.
Read Campaign as a scope, not a solved route
The official count establishes that Campaign is broader than the four badge-linked levels documented here. It does not justify inventing names for the other stages. Use the Campaign and Levels guide to keep confirmed totals, milestone objectives, and unknown fields separate.
For an ordinary Campaign attempt, begin with the visible objective and route. Identify how many approaches threaten the outpost, where terrain gives a useful firing line, and which systems the mission permits. Because every tower follows your aim, a layout cannot be evaluated apart from the player’s attention and the actual route.
At the end of a failed attempt, record the first meaningful failure rather than only the final screen. A leak caused by aim sitting off-route needs a different correction from a group that was hit continuously and still survived. Wave numbers, boss names, and guaranteed reward claims should remain private observations until they can be reproduced in the current build.
Use official badges as exact objective cards
Do not add restrictions that the text does not state. Likewise, do not assume an omitted action is definitely allowed. If a badge fails after a seemingly compliant run, record whether you placed and sold a prohibited tower, triggered another ability, joined a run already in progress, or changed loadout mid-attempt.
Plan the four documented level milestones
Level 1.1 supports a clean comparison between ordinary survival and a highly restricted attempt. Read Level 1.1 before deciding whether your session is a learning clear or a One Gun Wonder attempt.
Level 2.1’s Bare Hands guide centers on the exact “without building a single tower” wording. It avoids naming a guaranteed hero or ability solution because the badge does not provide one.
Level 3.1 has another ordinary-versus-restricted pair. The Level 3.1 guide explains why one tower type can still allow multiple copies while a single-tower objective cannot.
Level 4.1 has the most explicit tool list. The Fire and Lightning guide turns the allowed names into a pre-run check without inventing a build order or exact winning formation.
Approach bosses without fictional counters
The developer says each world has its own boss, which supports five boss encounters across the five-world scope. Public records checked here do not name those bosses or define their attacks, weaknesses, drops, or wave positions. A useful first boss attempt should therefore observe rather than pretend to know.
Keep the outpost route in view, note whether the boss changes direction or creates new threats, and watch which attacks actually connect. Record phase changes, if any, with the current version and level. Do not carry a resistance, armor type, or loot table from another Roblox defense game into Horde Defenders.
Treat Endless, Challenges, and leaderboards as update-sensitive
These systems are likely to depend on current rules. Read the live entry panel before investing a long session: eligibility, allowed tools, scoring, end condition, reward timing, and leaderboard period are the useful fields. If one is absent, leave it unknown.
A leaderboard position without the mode, date, server, score rule, and reset window is hard to interpret. A Challenge strategy without its current modifier can be actively misleading. The Updates hub records public changes; it does not turn a changed API timestamp into a fictional balance patch.
Use Workshop maps with clear authorship
The official description says players can build and share maps. That does not make every Workshop map developer-made, balanced, or eligible for Campaign rewards. Check the creator, description, current rules, and any warning shown before loading or publishing.
If you share a route, label it as a Workshop map and distinguish editor behavior from Campaign behavior. Avoid claiming moderation, monetization, discovery ranking, or reward eligibility without a current interface or creator statement.
Modes FAQ
How many Campaign levels are confirmed?
The official Experience advertises 59 levels across five worlds. Only four level identifiers have precise public badge objectives in the records used here.
How many bosses are there?
The description says each of five worlds has its own boss, supporting five world bosses in scope. Names and mechanics are not published in the checked records.
Are Challenges and Endless available to every new account?
Their existence is official; unlock requirements and current menu availability need an in-game check.
Can I publish a Workshop map?
Building and sharing maps is advertised. The exact editor, publishing, moderation, and discovery flow must be read from the current live interface.
