Horde Defenders Level 1.1 Guide

Prepare for Horde Defenders Level 1.1 and separate the normal First Stand clear from the single-tower, no-ability One Gun Wonder attempt.

Level 1.1 has two official badge objectives. First Stand asks you to survive the level. One Gun Wonder asks you to survive with a single tower and no abilities. The public badge records do not provide wave counts, a map, a recommended tower, or a guaranteed strategy.

Choose one objective

Use First Stand for an ordinary learning clear. Read the route, place defenses available to the account, aim manually, and learn how heroes and abilities behave. Use One Gun Wonder only when you are prepared to keep the entire run to one tower and avoid every ability.

Do not drift between objectives mid-run. A second tower placed during a difficult moment conflicts with One Gun Wonder even if it is sold later.

Prepare the route

Trace the visible approach from entrance to outpost and identify the segment with the longest useful firing opportunity. Check high ground for guns, because the developer states it improves range and damage, but do not assume an exact bonus.

Set the tower aim point on the active route and watch actual shot direction. If shots miss, correct aim before deciding the tower is weak. The full route, wave timing, and enemy mix need live observation.

Run First Stand

Use the current objective panel and all tools it permits. Let the hero fight autonomously while learning tower aim, then try direct control only for a clear task. Read ability tooltips instead of assuming an effect from the name.

After failure, record the first leak and one change. A clean ordinary clear gives you route knowledge before attempting the restricted badge.

Run One Gun Wonder

Tower count

Place only one tower for the entire attempt. Two copies of one type still make two towers.

Abilities

Do not trigger any ability. Remove uncertain shortcuts from your plan.

Aim

Keep the single tower directed toward the useful route as the swarm advances.

Hero boundary

The badge text does not explain hero rules; record control and actions if eligibility is unclear.

Choose the one tower from what your current account offers and what the live map supports. No first-party data justifies naming a guaranteed best choice.

Troubleshoot a failed objective

If the level fails, separate survival from badge eligibility. If you survive but do not receive One Gun Wonder, review tower placements, accidental ability inputs, reconnects, and mode selection. If you do not survive, review route coverage and aim before changing everything.

Do not claim that a specific hero, pass, or tower is required unless the current game proves it. Paid access is not part of the written badge condition.

Keep the attempt observable

Before starting, write down the selected level, objective, single tower choice, intended tile, and whether the live panel says anything about heroes. During the run, record aim changes and the first group that threatens to pass. One Gun Wonder leaves little redundancy, so a small aiming error matters more than it would in an ordinary multi-tower defense.

If direct hero control is allowed by the current rule, use it for a defined purpose and return to the strategic view before losing sight of the route. If hero eligibility is unclear, keep that uncertainty separate from the confirmed tower and ability restrictions. One controlled comparison is more useful than claiming a hidden requirement after a single miss.

After survival, wait for the badge notification and verify the account badge list before retrying. Record the game date because Alpha behavior may change.
